How are plastic extrusions made?
In simple terms, the process of manufacturing plastic extrusions goes as follows:
- Melt the plastic material
- Press melted material through a mould to shape it
- Cool it down quickly to retain the shape
- Cut the extrusion into the desired lengths
- Check for quality
